How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5204365 / 6501EA1001R Water Level Pressure Switch

Ordered the water level pressure switch. After it did not resolve the problem, ordered and installed water fill valve assembly. 

Ordered new parts with exact original part numbers. Received parts in a few days, which were exact duplicates of the originals. Replace both parts with 20 minutes. Washer fills with more water, and cloths come out cleaner with one rinse, not two as before. 

We watched the video on how to fix the problem. Ordered the parts and they came very quickly. My husband was able to repair the washer without any problems or complications. We are thrilled that we could solve the problem by using your parts and avoid buying a new washer. Thank you! 

Watched video. It was a different model, so we had to remove lid to get the top panel open. The rest of the instructions on the video were the same. Washer back in working order. Thanks for making videos on how to make the repairs. 

Replaced the pressure sensor and water fill valves. 

I cleaned the inlet screens, they weren't dirty to my eye but cleaned . not fixed. with my research figured it was the water level pressure switch not working. I replaced that part. the washer still would not stop filling. what I figured out was that the PUMP was not shutting off so the water kept filling... I did a little bit more research and was told it may be the control panel, an expensive part, but to try to expose the panel, "tap" on the different connectors that I could see, using a screwdriver, literally just kind of shaking it. I did that and put it back together, the machine now works. Obviously, I may need to replace the control panel eventually in 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months , or whenever. But as long as I had the thing apart, I figured I would try, it worked. I do not believe in magic but, voila! my washer LG washer works for now. the repair on this site was clear and very well done, I am thankful for the instruction. 

Water Level Pressure switch replacement 

You guys are freaking awesome! Ordered the parts on a Friday and they were delivered Sunday, right before the MLK holiday. Thought it would be delayed. Outstanding job. 

I replaced the part with the newly ordered part. The washer now works great! One thing I'd like to point out is that the pack top panel is CLIPPED into place, so although you must remove the screws, you must also use a screwdriver to pull the edge out far beyond the clips to be able to fully remove the panel. 

Watched a very helpful video on how to install it in this site, 5 minutes later my washer works again.
