Doug R Madera , CA August 11, 2015 The top lights would not turn off heat from the lights melted the cover and and melted light sockets I replaced all door switches , even lower freezer compartment (age ), and all upper switches .light socket note it has a heat protection now inline as to open one side off line ( aka upgrade ). Frank R Iron Mountain , MI June 29, 2015 Appliance: Model KENMORE 765.76203 3 yr old kenmore 765 76203 light would not always come on when door opened (led temp display did) Was worried after seeing some repairs done to circuit board, and others done to switch. Figured it was a lot cheaper to try replacing the switch first. A bit of a pain getting the old switch out - putty knife and some small screwdrivers prying up at the edge closest to the fridge door eventually worked.
