How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7225541 / EBF62174907 Rotary Switch (Selector)

I disassembled the unit according to the manual and proceeded to replace the faulty parts. It was a bit involved but pretty straightforward. All the screws were interchangeable and I only needed a phillips head manual screwdriver to access everything, plus a flathead screwdriver and pliers to help me disconnect some of the electrical connections and brackets. 

Parts received quickly. Nice. Unplugged appliances but a work issue arrived so plugged back in and pushed back into place Now it is working. Of course. 

We replaced the burner control knob module.

Oven is only a couple years old so I was surprised at the lack of info. Appliance Parts Pros website recognized the oven model number and provided a diagram making sure I got the right part. Couldn’t be happier with the service and results!
