Diagnosed every component ( sensors, heating element, etc.), and determined that the PCB was the problem. Ordered PCB (CIRCUIT BOARD), installed it, and works like new again. Contemplated purchasing a new dryer for $800.00 + but AppliancePartsPros.com saved my bacon, no one else had the board. Happy wife, happy life! Patrick B Tupelo , MS April 02, 2017 Dryer constantly ran and would not respond to buttons on main control panel Researched that this was a common issue for the DV36ETBGWR/A3 and purchased the control panel unit part # DC92-00669R. When the part arrived, I was able to remove the top dryer cover and replace the part myself. The dryer now runs and stops and heats just fine. Two days later the same problem happened, I then removed the board and replaced it with a new one . Ten minute fix and 170.00 dollars. The replacement for the same machine new was 750.00 . I read online that if you replaced the main board of your Samsung dryer it would fix the issue of the dryer continuously running when the door is shut (even if the dryer itself was off).
