How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5586807 / DC61-02427D Washer Liquid Soap Dispenser Tray

Tried using superglue, but the leg would keep breaking off. I ordered a new dispenser, came quickly, problem solved, thanks. 

I'm certainly not a repair person, but I watched the video, online chatted to confirm the part, and then ordered. Great prices, and excellent service! The part was at my door within 48 hours (I did the 2-day shipping, which was very reasonably priced). The part was packaging superbly--Amazon, take notice. The total repair took about an hour. Undoubtedly, I will use this company for future appliance repair needs. Overall, five stars. Yes, 5 stars! Very happy. 

Googled the problem, watched several videos. Recommendations were to replace blue cup and top piece. 

Purchased a new Liquid Soap tray and Max Fill Cap. The Max fill cap is supposed to snap into the soap tray and ours no longer did so it floated in the water preventing the siphon action from emptying the cup. The new Liquid Soap tray also has a small hole (1/16") in it to let the excess water slowly drain out. The water remaining in the tray really isn't a problem unless you spill the water when emptying it. You just need to empty it to be able to add detergent. 

We found the part on AppliancePartsPros.com and it came either the next day or the day after--super quick! Our broken one had been dropped and was missing a "leg" so it was filling up with water after every wash. It was nice to order this and have it show up so quickly. 

Ordered 2 new cups, which arrived quickly. Price was right too. 

APP had it verified the fit, Ordered it. Put it in. Done
