How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5325829 / DA82-01243A Refrigerator Door Hinge Mid Right Assembly

Ordered door hinge and grommet, did not need to order a grommet, one came with the hinge. Watched the video on how to take the door off, my refrigerator was a little different than the video but I figured it out. I am a 72-year-old female, the video was very helpful. 

Ordered exact parts from Appliance Parts Pros, hinge and bushing easy repair, parts came next day. 

Similar to another poster, we had a repair person install a new door but forgot to install the grommet which ruined our hinge. Installing the new hinge was easy using the YouTube video. I believe the hinge came with a grommet but we ordered a second one just in case. 

I had ordered parts from this website before, so I immediately came back for help with this project. The video of a hinge replacement was right on the money! I watched it twice, followed the step-by-step instructions, and had the hinge replaced in 12 minutes. Perfect part replacement, and an easy D-I-Y project. My wife loved it because while loosen the upper hinge to remove the door for a few minutes, she made sure I cleaned the top of the refrigerator! LOL. A win-win all the way around! (I also ordered a replacement spring for the french door, just to have it on hand. Such a small spring, but it gets a lot of use!) 

Replaced the hinge purchased from AppliancePartsPros.com. 

I took the old piece off and got the part number. Of course it was discontinued. So I searched the internet for the updated part. You guys had it. I ordered it, it came four days later. In five minutes it was on and working great. 

Opened door unscrewed two allen head bolts and one Phillips heads screw replaced hinge and retighten screws 

I ordered the part in appliance parts, which made it easy to find with the diagrams. The part arrived in a couple days and I installed it.
