How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5578979 / DA61-07540A Refrigerator Freezer Handle Support

Ordered a replacement handle support one day, received it the next day(fantastic) and installed the support back into the handle, then secured the handle back on the freezer door. 

It was super easy to replace - it took probably 15 minutes. Although only one support broke, I ordered two. Sure enough, when I removed the handle, the other support was already cracked in two places and would have broken into two pieces sooner or later. So my advice would be to replace the supports in pairs; they're cheap enough and easy enough to do.
