Watched the video of the repair procedure on APP.com (very helpful) 3. Ordered the part on APP.com (very simple) 4. Received the part from APP.com in 2 days (very prompt) 5. Turn off electrical to oven, remove two screws in the back of the element, slide the wires off of the connection making sure wires do not slip into back wall, remove element and replace with new one. Will D Chelsea , AL January 17, 2015 After 10 years of use the oven heating element burned/shorted out VERY simple. Remove both racks, remove two Phillips head screws from the old element retaining bracket, pull the bracket out far enough to disconnect the two power leads. Reverse procedure to install the new element and it's a great time to clean the oven while everything is out. Start to finish took 10 minutes and the replacement part was identical to the original.
