Edward M Oak Ridge , NJ March 25, 2017 Mini explosions and failure to get to and maintain temperature gas smell. Thanks to your advice, I observed that the ignitors were not heating properly. I ordered both oven and broil elements and a temp sensor since it had a coating from use. I figured while I have the oven all opened up I should replace the parts to make the oven work like new. This Kitchenaide oven has worked flawlessly since we installed it in 2000. I replaced the parts(Do use a string tied to the wiring , it was much easier since the holes don't line up in the oven and the back panel!) I was able to clean off the glass light covers and save that cost, replaced the gaskets. Oven works like new! Thanks for the video and the instructions. I've bought here before and will be back. Doug J Prospect , KY December 04, 2016 Whirlpool wall oven that would not hold temperature or would seem to loose track of what the set point was Some on line research showed that the control board was probably OK -- however the RTD had most likely gone bad. The part I ordered and you sent appears to have solved the problem. The repair took about 15 minutes to complete. Only because some idiot at the factory taped the lead wire to the back of the cabinet -- so I had to pull the oven out of the wall to get to the wiring in the rear of the enclosure. Read More... Patricia T Lake Tapps , WA May 20, 2016 Appliance: KitchenAid 30" Freestanding Convection Oven KERC607EWH1 My baking unit my heat sensor and a roller for the drawer under the range were all broken Once I received the ordered the parts, I asked a my son-in-law to put them in with me. An appliance man previously removed the broken pieces and instructed me on how to replace the parts. It seemed possible but my son-in-law was handy. A screw was missing from the sensor bracket. That would have halted my efforts. I was grateful he managed to replace the screw with one we had on hand. Everything appears to be working but I have yet to give it the hard test. ?? I purchased the range in 1995, so I saved $300 by replacing parts this way. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers

Tim P Sykesville , MD December 04, 2015 Oven burner would not turn on because the igniter was not lighting up Replaced the igniter. Super easy and now the oven works perfectly. Also replaced the temperature sensor (which was even easier) while I was in there since the oven is at least 17 years old. The oven is a Whirlpool and the parts appeared to be Whirlpool OEM parts so everything fit perfectly and the plugs on the wires could be used. The parts also come with heat resistant ceramic wire nuts so they can be used with other brand ovens where the plugs on the wires don't fit. Read More...
