How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012410 / WP8281163 Screw

We ordered the necessary parts from you and I sent my son the video to watch. He followed the instructions in your video, keeping it handy on his phone in case of any confusion. It took him about 15 minutes to replace the part and it is now working just fine. 

Replaced the motor.. 

First I Googled the brand and then went to different sources online to trouble shoot my problem. I felt sure that the problem was with the lid lock assembly. So, I ordered the appropriate parts through AppliancePartsPros...what a great company! I watched several U-tube videos for guidance. It wasn't as easy as the videos demonstrated...the whole top assembly didn't lean back easily...some screws were 'special'...star shaped...kept dropping parts...did it totally by myself (a 65 yr old woman)..but...I did it...it works...I'm estatic!
