How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6017029 / WPW10206068 Control Panel

Replaced the keyboard with a new one I bought from ApplicancePartsPros. I was extremely with AppliancePartsPros, the diagrams that helped me know what part to order, and the very fast service. I looked online and saw that it's common for the control panel and touch pad to stop working after years of heat contact likely due to a old gasket. I purchased a new control panel and gasket and had it installed in under 30 minutes. Fairly simple swap out. 

Pulled the old one off, plugged the new one in and reinstalled it. 

Replaced the oven control panel. 

Replaced panel control part AP6017029. 

Replaced front panel. 

I got the latest revision part and super fast shipping from appliancepartspros.com. 

I turned off the breaker, took out the old panel, put in the new panel, pressed the buttons to verify, and screwed it all back together. Did the job in under 30 minutes.
