Barry B Oceanside , NY April 24, 2017 Appliance: KitchenAid 30" Built-In Electric Thermal Convection-Upper KEBC207KBL02 Fan motors was screeching when oven was turned on Turned off power to the oven. Remobed the trim and unscrewed 4 screws holdin the ovens to the wall. Removed the upper and lower doors from the oven. Placed a folding chair on each side ofnthe oven. This was about the right height to support my stove. Then with the assistance of my friend we slidnrhe stove out of the wall onto the open folding chairs. We removed the top cover and back cover exposing the upper and lower fan. We then unscrewed the fans and removed the power clips. A pair of pliers or an offset screwed driver was needed.for.the lower fan. installation was just tje reverse. Before placing the obens back in the wall, power wad temporarily restored to test the installation and operation. Aftet a successful test power was turned off. The oven was slid back into the wall. Kurt P Fairfield , CA August 02, 2015 Dead circulating fan Had the benefit of watching the repair guys pull the oven out and replace a thermostat a few weeks prior to the fan failure. At the apllianceparts website I could look up the exploded views, identify the part number, order, pay n wait for it to show up. Like, two days later the fan arrived. Part came complete w installation instructions and mounting modifications necessary for the upgraded style. 30 minutes later I had the thing installed n running. Cost $220 and the hassle of waiting for the repair guys to install the thermostat. This time, cost $160 bux for the part n I did it myself. Aplliancepartspros.com is pretty awesome.
