How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6008772 / WP37001036 Drum Glide Bracket

REPLACED EACH OF THE ABOVE PARTS. SAVED $502 DOLLAR BY NOT HAVING TO BUY A NEW DRYER. 

I replaced the belt and a bracket that had been sawed in half by the drum rubbing on it for years 

Replaced the drum glides, brackets and felt. Paid for 2 day delivery but parts arrived in less than 24 hours! 

Tore it down and replaced the parts arrived when you said, and fit properly 

Dryer making grinding noise consistent with drum rotation; disassembled and found lower drum glide bracket broken. Found part easily online and confirmed by a photo of part (thank you). Part received in two days and replaced. 12-year-old Dryer operates "good as new". 

The part was ordered, and it was shipped quickly to me. Then I replaced it. 

I took it apart and found that the glides had failed and had also worn into the bracket that holds the glides. This was the rubbing, grinding sound. Ordered the replacement parts and got them the following day. Our dryer was back running normal again. 

Replaced drum support wheels , drum glides. Motor pulley and belt tension pulley. Last I put new belt on. And in 2006 I paid 509.00. Replacement parts cost around 125.00. Runs like brand new. Parts came in two days standard. Oh and you do not have to replace motor. Can get motor pulley separate for around twenty five dollars. Manufacture say 

I ordered a new one and installed it. Easy process. Part I felt was a little high for what it was but it was cheaper than a new dryer.
