How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6012289 / WP8269145 Dishwasher Undercounter Mounting Bracket

It was easy to install the brackets to hold the dishwasher to stop moving. 

Replacement Undercounter Bracket from ApplianceParts Pros was the exact part needed- easy to finish repair myself following on-line video. 

I ordered the adjuster kit and replaced the whole upper rack system. There weren't any instructions but the repair video on your site easily walked me through it. 

Well, about 11-12 years ago, I bought an entire kitchen from someone. The dishwasher was up at bat. I figured everything plastic or rubber was dry rotted so I bought all the rubber seals and grinder blade. Replaced it all and set it up. Right away, the water relay thing started spewing water. Figured the water froze In it and cracked. I replaced that as well. Now my Kitchen Aid stainless steel unit is working like new.. Cant even hear it..... 

Replaced a 10 year old Whirlpool dishwasher with the latest model and assumed the mounting brackets would be the same length and went ahead and shortened the new ones--we all know what assuming does so of course they were too short. No worries, Appliancepartspros.com had me covered. I ordered the replacement brackets on a Wed. and they arrived on Friday and 10 minutes later my new dishwasher was secured!! 

Cabinet hardware was easy. I just followed the video. The toe kick panel was a little more laborious in nature. The holes do not line up for proper installation. They will offset the panel too far to the left or right. So I had to measure out and drill some holes to align with mine so that the panel would attach. I double-checked the model number and serial number to make sure that I ordered the right part and it says that this is the panel for my machine. So basically added another 25 minutes to the job. 

Purchased the under counter bracket and screws. Installation took 5 minutes! Works much better - much more stable!
