Edward C San Diego , CA May 22, 2016 Appliance: Model KUDC10FXSS7 Water leaking out the front of the door I noticed that there was water leaking out the front of the dishwasher door. The original hard plastic door seal was warped and had a piece broken off. This is not the rubber door seal along the side, but the hard plastic lower door seal. First, unplug the dishwasher or turn off the circuit breaker. I removed the screws from the inside of the door so that I could remove the front cover. Then, I also removed the hinges from the door. That gave me easy access to the tiny screws holding the plastic seal on. I notice other people have left the door on, but I found it easier to access the door seal screws this way. You will need to unplug the top control panel to remove the door. Replaced the piece and put everything back together. Also leveled the dishwasher a bit better. Works great. Pretty easy project over all. 30 minutes. Read More... 21 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers, Socket Set
Carole G Wiggins , MS January 17, 2015 One of the two brackets which secures the dishwasher to the counter was broken off the dishwasher would wobble whenever i would open or close the door I pulled the dishwasher out from under the counter about 3 inches. Replacing the broken bracket was simple because I watched your video. I was also able to correct the installation of the other bracket (there are two on top of the dishwasher) because it had been installed incorrectly. The entire job took less than 15 minutes. The only part of the job that took a little effort was snipping off the end of the bracket to fit properly.
