How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3115349 / 6800 Charcoal Filter

With the Model # and Serial # it was easy to look up the replacement parts I needed on Appliance Pros.com, ordered them and they arrived within a couple of days. Once they got here, I quickly popped out the old and inserted the new. The project took less than 5 minutes. Done. 

Purchased the items from Appliance Parts Pro and fixed very within 15 minutes. 

We replaced them. 

Installed new filters. 

Easy to replace. No difficulty. 

Read the manual and found that the vent filters needed replacing. Ordered them, and they arrived within 48 hours (probably less). Was very pleased with ability to search and find the item(s) I needed as well as the quick delivery. It was worth the $6. Lininroanoke

I removed the 3 screws on the side of the door that held the door parts together. Then I slipped a butter knife into the top edge of the door so that I could get a screwdriver blade in there to pop the door frame off. then just remove the 2 screws holding the handle and replace. It took a while to get the door frame apart because you have to go slow with the screwdriver when you pry it apart so as not to crack the frame. 

Easy Peasy. Just popped it in place. 

The replacement grease and charcoal filters (no tools needed) along with the vent grill fit perfectly. It took less than 5 minutes to replace these parts. I had doubts that parts would be available but Appliance Parts Pros had what I needed. The next time I need appliance parts they will be first on my list.
