How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011760 / WP8182210 Bellow Seal Clamp Ring

Watched an awesome YouTube video on tear down and was quite easy to replace. Happy wife Thank You 

Replaced bellow and front spring loaded seal clamp 

Perfectly fine. The video posted on your site, with the step by step procedure, was the only reason I bought the bellow and took aim at changing it myself. In other words, the person who recorded the video was on point! 

Our friend did the repair for us and, after watching the instructional videos, made the repair in just over an hour. It works perfectly. 

Ordered the exact replacement part with retaining rings. Fit perfectly and went in easily. 

Installed a new door bellow and clamp 

The 3 top causes were the bellow tub seal and 2 clamps. I chose to replace all 3. Everything went well using the superb how to videos. The only issue I had was that my control console had a separate piece to remove that was not shown in any videos I looked up. But my machine is very old. That slowed me down and added an extra hour as I did not want to force or break anything. Washes well and no leaks now!!!

Basically, disassembled entire unit and cleaned it, plus sanitized the drum. Changed the hoses and bellows. The bellows was a bit of a challenge. The drum clamp was difficult to install. I should have left it for a Saturday project instead of a weeknight. Not a difficult project, just time consuming getting everything stretched into place.
