How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011760 / WP8182210 Bellow Seal Clamp Ring

Replaced Bellow.

Got a new Bellow Tub Seal and followed the video on this website. It was super easy to follow the video and the part came the next day! Thank you so much for such a valuable site, service, and instructions. 

Replaced the rubber bellows as there was a six-inch gash in the old part. It was a fairly easy repair - there were plenty of videos that helped to demonstrate what needed to be done and mostly my machine was similar. The hardest thing was getting the door disconnected from the latch mechanism because the door is very heavy (I’m a 50+ woman trying to do the repair solo). I had to get help with that. Otherwise, it was straightforward and the part fit beautifully and is much more flexible than my original. It worked!!! Saved $200 on a repairman who had tried to get me to buy a new washer. 

I ordered parts from appiancepartspro.com and watched the install video on my order form. It was a smooth and seamless process. Fantastic web site. The install video was my exact model unit so it was so easy. 

The repair went smoothly thanks to the videos that Appliancepartspros provided. Tools needed were needle nose pliers and a #20 torx driver. The job took me about 1-1/2 hours just because I do not have experience. Next time it won't take as long. I estimate it might take someone with experience about an hour. 

Found out that the reason my washer was leaking was that the bellow was torn in the washer. Got the parts and everything is great. NO MORE LEAKING. Thanks for having the parts to make it happen!

Received new seal in 3 days. Watched online video and did the repair in 1 1/2 hours. Very easy. No more water on the floor
