How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6011828 / WP8182695 Electronic Control Board (Main)

Installed new power control unit. Simply unplug all connections, remove old unit, snap new unit in and reconnect all connections. Machine works perfect now 

I found the model # of my washer then entered that on the Appliance pros web site and found a skematic of my washer and quickly found the control board for my washer. I paid for 2 day shipping and as soon as I recived the part I replaced it in about 10 min. 

New CCU Board. 

Based on others' input, I ordered the MCU, but error code and washer problem remained the same. Customer service was excellent; helped me with return and order of the main control board (ECU). That solved the problem. Fast processing and shipping, too. 

With today's appliances having computer circuit boards controlling l there functions. I simply want onto appliance appliancePartsPro site entered in the front loading washer model # and the control board part was in front of me. Clicked, shipped and replaced over the weekend. The entire experience could not of be better!!
