How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6023728 / WPW10675033 Refrigerator Control Board

Ordered two boards which were indicated as the possible problem. I took detailed pictures of each board before removing to assure I was reconnecting all the connections correctly. I used a long set of needle nose pliers to remove each connector. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to remove the boards. So far when I experience a power loss the frigid has successfully restarted. Fingers crossed!! 

Ordered a new control board and a new power control board. Installed both in about 50 minutes Refrigerator started working correctly. Time will tell because it sometimes worked for weeks before acting up. Did receive what appeared to be a previously installed part, a quick call to customer service and a new one was immediately sent out. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com. 

Replaced damaged master control board Fixed wire issue on pantry door (broken wire)

Did some YouTube research and came across your website and channel. Your site and channel was spot on with the diagnosis, even with including a video with how to replace the part. Ordered correct control board, and surprised to see it arrive at my door the following afternoon! Following your easy to understand video instructions for changing out the old board and replacing with the new was a breeze. After installation, I monitored the temperatures and ice maker in the morning and evening for 1 week, and I have to say that this KitchenAid runs better and more consistently than when we bought it new! 

Youtube videos helped diagnose the problem and pointed me to a Control Board issue. Fix was only slightly more complicated than changing a light bulb. 

We replaced the control board. 

I replaced the Main Control Board.
