Barry F Highlands Ranch , CO October 04, 2015 Appliance: Maytag Washer- Horizontal Axis MAH4000AWW Spin cycle stopped working After much internet research (primary YouTube) as to why my Maytag Neptune washing machine's spin cycle stopped working, I ordered the parts I needed to fix it. Sure enough, it was a failed wax motor and a blown control board at fault. After replacing both parts, we have a functioning washing machine again. While I was at it, I replaced the soap dispenser's bezel and lid since they were deteriorating and now we have a "new" washer! I also replaces the thermostat in the matching dryer and we now have multiple levels of heat vs. just cool or very hot. Great to have a reliable place to get the parts I needed. I have used AppliancePartsPros several times over the past for +/- 6 years. They have always had the parts I needed and they have been there to answer any questions I may have before and during installation. I highly recommend them. Replaced the thrust bearing kit due to wear, and cleaned the timer module with electronic contact cleaner. Not sure if the bearing kit had any impact on the spin cycle engaging, but the original parts were very worn and the unit is much quieter. Also replaced the drive belt. Read More...
