How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010385 / WP67003903 Refrigerator Damper Control Assembly

Replace thermistors and chill door. 

I was slapping the cover of the air damper control, that usually worked. But that was only a temporary fix. I ordered the new part from AppliancePartsPros, found a Youtube video showing the replacement on my exact refrigerator, and the rest was easy. 

Replaced the damper control unit which had a broken spring.

I actually replaced the evap fan in the freezer, the problem persisted. I then researched it more. I suspected the damper control was bad. I replaced it and this fixed the problem. Your how to videos are awesome. Both repairs were simple. Your website is great. Keep up the good work. Matt

Replaced the damper. Very simple process. Easy as 1,2,3. Certainly beats a $100 service charge from a repair shop.
