How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4418702 / 5765M440-60 Control Panel

(1) Turn off power to oven. (2) Remove four screws that held oven to cabinet. (3) Slide oven out about 3 inches (in order to access the "wings" of the new control panel). (4) Remove control panel (four screws). (5) Reassemble. (6) Restore power. NOTE: I also removed the hardware that holds the door latch, etc. I don't know whether that was actually required. The steps outlined are how I would do it after doing it once. The first thing I actually did after turning off the power was to remove that trim hardware. 

T/s keypad and ocb, replaced the keypad 

You supplied the new control panel and it took about 20 minutes to replace. Fixed the problem. 

Replaced control panel. Very easy to change, about 30 min. Oven works ok now. 

Replaced the control panel. 

I removed the screws that hold the oven in the cabinet, this gave me access to the control panel cover (4 screws). I removed it, put the new panel on attached the 2 leads and "VOILÀ" it statred working! Just reverse the process to reinstall the oven. The process took me 15 minutes and saved me $200 in labor. 

Purchased the VERY expensive front panel, Shut off Breaker to oven, removed the screws holding over to cabinet, slid oven out about 2 inches, removed 4 screws holding touch panel to oven, removed four screws hold control module to touch panel, removed to flex cables from control module, put new touch panel in revers steps to finish.
