You simply unscrew the oven from it's mount points, pull it out a little bit, remove the four sheet metal screws holding the panel in place, unplug electronics, and plug the new panel in. Just did my neighbors with this one, too 8 minutes for the whole project. Kinda sad the original Whirlpool/Maytag/Jenn-air (they are all the same basically,... Read more

After doing some research online, I saw that to have an appliance repair person come out to fix the touchpad, would cost us well over $500. Some people said they would charge $500 for the part alone. I did a search for the part using our model number and read the reviews on this site and thought we'd give it a try. It was a very easy repair--anyone could do it. You basically remove four side screws and then the screws behind the knobs. Once you pull the front away, there are 4 screws holding... Read more

Originally, I was told by Appliance Parts technician that the control board needed replacing. I ordered a new board and replaced it. No change. I replaced the panel control board (key pad) and all is working once again. I probably saved $600 by doing it myself. Read more
