Kermit D Granbury , TX April 24, 2017 Appliance: Whirlpool 30" Electric Ceran Cooktop GJC3054RB01 Top right hand burner on countertop stove was burned out I first turned the power off and checked the stove to make sure there was no power to it. Pulled stove out of counter and used two 1x2 pieces of wood to hold it up. Took ten screws out of the base to remove the top. Removed the burner noting how it was wired. Removed the clips that held the burner in place and reinstated them on the new burner. Reinstalled new burner and replaced top. Reinstalled cooktop in counter. Ronald C Albequerque , NM December 17, 2015 Only one half of the burner would light I ordered the part online and it arrived on the date promised. I removed the 10 screws that held the glass top in place. Make sure you turn off the circuit breaker first. I then disconnected the 5 wires that connected to the burner and removed it. I removed the 2 brackets on the bottom of the old burner and screwed them onto the new burner and installed the new burner. Only needed a screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Read More...
