The plug ends of the new element were bent slightly, I straightened them slightly with pliers, then it slide right in, in less than 10 minutes. Followed the video directions to replace the oven element, and it went in easily! The problem was one of the old plugs would not release, I finally tapped it with a hammer and screwdriver and it popped off. Should have been less than 10 minutes, needing only a Philips screwdriver, but getting the old plug to break loose took at least 20 minutes.
