It looked like someone started welding on our broken one. A big boom and it lit up as I freaked out not knowing what happened. Turning it off didn't work, I had to shut off the fuse for the burning to stop.
Ordered the new one and I only hoped it was easy enough as it didn't have instructions. So I plopped my 1.5y old in his chair to eat his lunch and I got to work.
Two screws total in the oven, and a disconnection of the wire plug/clips at the ends. (Scraped my arm on each from the contacts being so tight. That was the worst part!) Plugged in the new element and put the prongs back into the slots at the back of the stove. Also had time to do a quick scrub of the suckered when the initial one was out. All within the time of my son to eat his little bowl of lunch. Very glad the problem wasn't anything else! (Circuit Board stuff)
Shipping was best. Very fast, 3 business day wait till it came. Thank you!
