First checked the circuit breaker to make sure it wasn't blown.......it wasn't......then took the back off the dryer and used a meter to check the circuits going to the fuses and the thermostat to see if any were blown---all were good......then I checked the heater element with a meter and it appeared to be Bad----next I removed the heater element and could visually see the element wire was Broken......I called Appliance Parts Pros.com and found the needed element, then talked with one of your parts reps and found out the element would have to be Special ordered (the dryer is 41 years old!).....then the rep found another element that would work to replace the original that was In Stock!!! I had the element in Two Days!!! (at a total cost of $28!).......Unfortunately the new element had Blade contacts and the old one just had screw in contacts for the bare wires....I had to drive all over town to find the correct female blade contacts and they cost $17.00 for two little wires!!! The rest of the job was Easy, just putting it all back together......Thanks!
