Dryer wouldn't heat and wouldn't turn off at end of cycle

Replaced heating element (coil was broken). I ordered the part 3 p.m. and got in the next day!! The repair went flawlessly.

Bad heating element in my dryer

This dryer ran but no heat. After the back was removed, the heating element was diagnosed bad with a multi meter--no continuity between the two heating element connectors. In this dryer, an older Kenmore, just one sheet metal screw held the heating element in, besides the electrical connectors. Both thermostats were removed and the electrical connections disconnected. The screw near the bottom of the element box was removed and the dryer tipped over toward the front to provide enough clearance to slide the element down out of the box. The new element from Appliance Parts was slipped up and in and the one screw tightened up again and the thermostats and connections reconnected. The new element from Appliance Parts was identical to the old one.

Would not generate heat for drying clothes

Using your drawings I determined that the heater coil was open. After opening the machine I saw that it needed a drive belt and drum support also. After installing these parts the machine is like new. I've purchased other parts from you with the same results. Well done AppliancePartsPros. You will hear from me again

Dryer wouls spin but no heat

I took a chance and ordered the most likely parts as your site helped determine ( heating element , circuit breaker , cut-off kit and cycling thermostat ). The parts were on my doorstep in less than 36 hours. I grabbed my tool bag and in less that 30 minutes my dryer was working again. All for under $70 bucks which is only a few dollars more than my local parts house wanted for just the element! You guys are awesome and I am walking around my house with my chest puffed out!!! Oh and this is my first attempt and even fixing a dryer!
