How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010166 / WP63753 Lint Filter

Removed cap and old broken upper agitator ( lint filter ) placed new part / upper agitator (lint filter ) on lower agitator replaced original cap .and voila ! Fixed .. easiest repair EVER ! Plus I received part so quickly , and Appliance Parts pros were extremely helpful .. You gained a lifelong customer !! 

Replaced lint filter 

I ordered a new one 

Replaced the worn and falling parts with the parts I had ordered. 

Pop in the new one. Now my beloved 30 year old Whirlpool can live to wash another day - or year 

While washing clothes the lint filter or as I would call it the upper agitator would fly off and then it sounded like the washer was blasting off for the moon,,After chatting with Laura M from Appliance Parts she got the part I needed shipped out the same day,,that was on a Monday,,i got the part on Wednesday,,that was fast. 

Part was perfect fit. Just popped it in and started washing. 

Not much to tell, I just snapped it in place and put the old cap on the new part.
