Joeg February 21, 2017 for Model Number LLR9245BQ1 This is in response to your answer which was to remove the old round filter and replace it with the plug kit. I understand the above. But how do I seal the 4 small hole in the center of the tub below the drive block which held the old round filter in place with the lock ring .If this area is left open, all the gunk will enter the tub though these holes. How do you seal these holes?
1 Answer Hello JoeG. The plug kit 285868 presses into the hold of the tub and works like the filter in the unit. Read More...
Joe February 15, 2017 for Model Number LLR9245BQ1 I need to replace the original round lint filter from under the inner tub. I have removed the old round filter. I see you have a fitter kit to plug the 4 large holes on the bottom of the tub. My question is how do you plug the 4 small holes that held the old round filter in place on the tubular portion of the inner tub.Any help where to find the plug for those holes will be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Joe, You would order the 285868 Washer Filter Plug Kit. Install the four plugs in the bottom openings in the tub. That's all that is required. Thanks, Read More...

Russell W October 29, 2013 for Model Number Whirlpool LA8200XWWO Top Load Washer During the Spin Cycle, the Lint Filter slings off the Agitator. There is a round filter like part with fine wire mesh, plastic vertical uprights & slots that snap either onto the Agitator or the Lint Filter. This part has broken off. Is this missing part the reason the Lint Filter comes off during spinning? Does a replacement Lint Filter come with this round filter built in? Or is that a different part altogether? Thank you.
1 Answer Hello Russell. It sounds like the agitator is bad and will need to be replaced in the unit. Read More...
