How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010686 / WP71002111 Grease Filter

This repair was the most simple one I have ever done. Toss what was left of the broken knob and pop the new one on. Same with the grease filter. Out with the old and in with the new! 

I replace the spark module on my Jenn Air dual-flame oven and it's very easy to remove and install it by removing the back panel sheet metal cover and it's right there on the spot. Make sure to take a picture on your phone before unplugging the connected wires or if you don't have a camera phone just simply unplug one wire from the broken part and copy install to the designated terminal. By doing this it'll save you a lot of $$$. 

Replaced filter with new one. 

I forgot to remove the racks when I cleaned the oven. I've done it twice before and could reshine them but this time I opted for replacement and a downdraft filter while I was ordering. They look great.

Replaced the control panel assembly. 

Door gasket was bad, contaminated and failing. Easy fix, removed the old and put in the new, perfect fit. 

We have cooked on a JennAir electric stove for over 25 years. We replaced the air filters fairly regularly, but they became increasingly hard to find as the decades passed. Pre-sales customer service worked with me to find suitable air filters for a stove so old that was no longer in the database. The filters arrived at my home in a couple of days. They fit perfectly. We also ordered a steel grill cover to replace a two piece glass grill cover, one of which my wife shattered by rinsing with cold water when it was hot. The replacement steel cover arrived at my home quickly and fit perfectly. 

Bought the screen and installed it.
