I ordered parts from Appliance Parts Pros... because I was taking the dryer apart, I decided to order several of the wear parts and replace them as well. I disassembled the dryer, starting with the front cover, then the front bulkhead. I was careful to document what screws went where and where wires that I needed to detach were connected removed the drum and cleaned the interior and all parts by vacuuming and wiping. I replaced the tension wheel, the idler shafts, and the wheels. Then I replaced the drum front bearings and inserted the drum with a new drive belt in place. This was the trickiest part because it required the drum to be partially out of place to properly position the belt around the motor drive wheel and the spring-loaded tension wheel. What I missed initially was the importance of doing a final positioning of the belt closer to the correct position on the drum before doing larger spins of the drum. Once I did this correctly, everything worked great!
