Our lint trap was tore apart

Appliance: Maytag Gas Dryer MDG5500AWW

It was very loud tumbler bearings were completely worn down and felt seal was ragged

Vacuumed out the metal shavings and Replaced the tumbler bearings (easy) and felt seal also, which was also pretty simple. Dryer runs so quiet now you can hardly hear it.

My maytag dryer needed a new lint trip (old one was tearing apart)

I googled Maytag dryer parts and found the dryer lint trap I needed (the model number on the dryer helped me figure out the correct filter online). I ordered it at about 3 pm on a Wednesday and poof, received it in less than 24 hours later on my doorstep!
