How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3179954 / 8201537 Refrigerator Water Dispenser Tube Kit

I watched your video on how to replace it which was very simple. And replaced it with a kit from AppliancePartsPros. Took almost 25 minutes.. 

Great help video on this site. My fridge was a little different than exact steps in video, but the steps were generally the same. Basically took a couple pieces off, yank old tube with drippy “non drip” part, and then put new tube w new bracket. Took maybe 30 min, plus and extra 2 hours cleaning while I had the bottom grill and drip pan I didn’t even know existed off. Did a deep clean on everything. Now, zero drips, looks great, and very clean. 

Well.... the water filter was easy..... I was concerned about leaks in the lines from the filter to the frig..... not so! The outlet water line for the indoor water spout was easy to fix as well. Hey, your videos on "how to" were invaluable..... showed me exactly what to do. I'm pretty handy, but like my grandpa always said: "if you look at it long enough you'll figure it out". Nice to have some step by step actual visuals that serve as the guide to the repair. THANKS SO MUCH!

We ordered the dispenser water tube kit. Watched the video, and it was as easy as demonstrated! It was a little more effort to pull the old tubing out, probably because it was old. Getting the new line in was smooth. 

Out of the blue our water hose dispenser starting spraying water everywhere whenever anyone tried to get water out of the door dispenser. Looking at the hose with a flashlight, I discovered that the hose had broken apart at the bend. Not having a clue as to how to replace this part I got on Youtube and found a video from AppliancePartsPros.com that showed exactly how to fix it. I ordered the replacement part, it came two days later, and the repair was completed in less than 15 minutes as I started and stopped the video. Excellent instructions and saved me the cost of having someone come out and complete the repair. Highly recommend. 

Everything about this repair was pretty easy. It was easy to find the part that I needed on your web site. It was quick to get the part next day. The video helped me install the part. I did have problems removing the dispenser trim. It did not have the two screws holding it in like the video, but in the Questions and Answers section I found out that some dispenser trims are different. After covering my putty knife and screwdriver with masking tape to protect from scratching the front of the fridge and prying carefully for about five minutes, the dispenser trim came off unbroken. After that, following the video to the letter was easy. Total repair time about 20 minutes… 

I ordered the dispenser hose kit for my refrigerator and installed in rather quickly. I watched the video and then just did what it said.
