How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP3179954 / 8201537 Refrigerator Water Dispenser Tube Kit

Replaced the broken water dispenser tubing and its bracket. tubing 

Very easy to repair. Pulled the old line, ran the new one and it was ready to go. My fridge had the drip-free line that is no longer used but fortunately, this kit matches up perfectly. Super easy. 

Ordered dispenser water tube kit Part #: AP3179954 (8201537) Watched a video on the APPros website on how to replace dispenser tube. Everything worked extremely well. Would highly recommend this website. 

Watched the video and it went just like the video. 

Replaced tube. Project would have gone a little faster if I had a nut driver but a screw driver worked well enough. The video provided excellent instruction. Couldn't have been happier. 

Replaced the tubing. 

I used the instruction video that is linked in the part and it was perfect. Very happy with the instructions and the part. 

Followed you video instructions. But the Kenmore Elite model was a bit different, but information provided was enough to get the job done. The longest part of the project was cleaning many years of accumulated dust. Other than that the tube replacement was easy. 

20+ yr old Whirlpool refrigerator with water/ice dispenser indoor. The water dispenser line broke near the top. They don’t make the “anti-drip” part anymore, so I was totally confused. This part was exactly what I needed to replace the plastic housing that used to hold the water line in place while filling cups. Easy install. Followed the videos and it went exactly as instructed. 

Used U-tube video info to take off front dispenser plates, to see where the problem was. Found a crack in the tubing. Ordered the water line repair kit, watched repair video in the Appliance Parts Pros site. Repaired line. We are in our seventies, yet this was an easy repair for us when given the information we needed.
