How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010382 / WP67003854 Refrigerator Crisper Shelf Frame

Replacement of parts found on this site- great explanation and pictures as shown! 

We bought a two year home and after we moved in we discover that the inside of the GE refrigerator was all broken up inside so I ordered lots of parts and replaced them in about two hours I spent a little over $200.00 and. Ow it's good as new.a new refrigerator same model would have been $3000.00 that's a great savings Thank you 

Removed crisper drawers. Removed broken frame and then the humidity slides. Added the slides to the new frame, then installed the center rail before reinstalling into the refrigerator.Went smoothly 

It was very easy to replace these parts. I love their videos that show you exactly how to complete the repair. 

Purchased parts and watched provided videos to install. Simple and saved a ton of money vs calling a repair person. 

Went online with Appliance Parts Pros. Looked at the drawing found the part numbers. Order them and they were here the next day. No problems from start to finish. 

Replaced with new one 

Ordered parts needed which was very easy to do with the schematics provided on the website. Replaced them myself. Not hard. Parts cost about $165. The repair service quoted $190.00 just to walk in the door. The website Amana originally referred me too was hard to navigate and way more expensive. Thank you Appliance Parts Pro! 

Removed items from glass shelf and removed glass shelf and cleaned. Lifted up and pulled away from rear wall. Carefully removed front cover and humidity sliders from front. Removed metal front support bar by lifting up left front tab and sliding to left to remove. Removed crisper draw support bar in middle. Reversed procedure to place items on new replacement shelf. Installed Crisper shelf. 

First, we located a schematic for the refrigerator and identified what the part was called. Then we hunted for someplace to buy the part and found appliance we actually found the two parts that we needed fairly quickly, ordered them online on a Saturday. Our parts were shipped Monday and arrive Tuesday. While reviewing the shipping documents, we found that instead of Maytag parts we were going to receive whirlpool parts! When I called in the polite and evidently knowledgeable person, explain that whirlpool had acquired Maytag and that the parts were interchangeable for this application. It was right. Once the parts arrived, we put them into the refrigerator and they fit perfectly.
