How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014490 / WP99002839 Door Latch Handle

Watched video from Internet search, Ordered new part , then easily replaced the new handle. 

Purchased new handle then watched the video. It was amazingly easy to follow. The replacement process was very simple and was accomplished without any problems. Used the same screws that were attached to the old handle. Very successful venture. 

Watched the video and then followed the steps - super easy. Was done and fixed in 10 minutes. 

Purchased the part from AppliancePartsPros and followed the video on how to replace the part. Went perfect! The dishrack stop that I got wa sa different one and did not fit. 

I'm not a "Mister Fix It" but I'm okay. I couldn't have done this without instructions and the video was perfect. I was able to follow them easily. It would have taken less than 15 minutes but I went very slowly just to be sure. 

Observed video for replacement part on Appliance Part Pros. Ordered and received the part in less than 24 hours!!! Followed video to replace the handle in ten minutes with absolutely no problems. 

Watched the video - removed the screws holding door panel - they did require the star-type bit to remove -the latch required socket wrench - unscrewed and attached the new one with the same screws - it was a little bit of an efforts lining up and finding the holes - actually had my wife help with that! screwed panel back together - voila! All done! Easy! 

Got on you tube on how too, watched it and ordered the part right off you tube . Fixed it in 20 minutes with one tool. Works perfectly . Never goes that way. Mike 

Remove back panel of door and broken handle install new handle and re install door panel - repair took 10 minutes 

Unscrewed panel ,removed screws that held handle in placed . I had difficulty installing the screws back into handle assembly I fell it should have bolts instead of screws make it easier to reinstall.
