How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014191 / WP9782033 Oven Door Hinge

Pulled door off oven, disassembled door, removed old hinge, replaced with new hinge, reassembled and placed back on oven. Enjoyed spousal accolades

Easy fix with use of new hinge. Removal and replacement was very easy, after watching YouTube video 

I replaced the oven door hinge. 

Removed door. Using only a screwdriver removed defective part and installed new. Took only twenty minutes. 

Ordered two new hinges. A friend who has expertise in appliance repaired replaced the hinges, and the door works great now. The KitchenAid KERS507EWH2 range with convection oven is at least fifteen years old now and has served us well. It was well worth the trouble fixing it. 

Called Appliance Parts Pros, spoke with Tiffany -- she was outstanding in helping me locate the serial number, determine the part needed, described how to install and sent it to me right away. If you have an employee of the month award, I'd like to nominate Tiffany.

Removed the door, removed all the screws, took out the old part, and installed the new part. The hard part was trying to remember how some of the parts articulated.
