Door spring was broken

REPLACED IT WITH A NEW ONE.. IT WAS AN EASY FIX WITH A PHILIPS HEAD SCREWDRIVER IN 15 MINUTES...

This was a dual wall oven approximately 14 years old top door would not close due to bent hindges and door bottom oven heating element was broken

Removed top door, disassembled, cleaned and repaired. Replaced hinges and reinstalled door. Replaced bottom element. Both ovens work perfect now.

Easily found replacement hinges for my oven on this site. Ordered 2. Pulled oven from cabinet part way, replaced both hinges.

A hinge on our oven door broke so the door wouldn't work.

First we bought the wrong hinge and couldn't locate the right one. Then I stumbled on your chat forum, shared my challenge and some photos, and in twenty minutes was shown the exact part I needed. I had a broken spring on the hinge to the oven door and the broiler element did not work so not only could i not broil meat but i could not keep the door from flopping open very annoying

I order the parts and used the helpful information found on line on how-to-replace the items I purchased for repair to my oven. Now, bare in mind that I am a 57 year old woman with little to no skill set for these kind of operations. But, what the heck, I decided to give it a try. Since I had the previous knowledge from the How-To instructions provided on line; I went to work on affixing replacements parts. After two hours, I was able to use my broiler and close the oven door without flopping issue. If I can do it... Anyone can.. It cost the parts and two hours of my time to save replacing the entire oven. Plus I learned a few things of how these things work. I feel I saved a ton of $$ and have a great sense of accomplishment.... Yippee.... Thanks to your precise replacement parts and the instruction offered on line.... It was a HUGE success...... Thank again....
