How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6041529 / W11051465 Dryer Door Hinge

I ordered the hinge on the weekend and it came on Tuesday in the late Morning. I loved how quick it arrived. The swap out of the part took 10 minutes using a batter powered driver, a #2 Phillips tip and a T-25 tip. If you use hand tools, it will take a few minutes longer. If I would have realized how easy it was, I would have replaced it when it started sagging instead of waiting for it to break. 

Looked up the exact part I needed, watched the Appliance Parts Pros video and I replaced the hinge assymbly..... 

With the replacement part received 

The hinge is like a two prong fork as it attaches to the door. There are two pins on each prong for a total of four, these pins provide the support for the door as it swings open. Two of the four pins were broken, causing the sag. Replacing the hinge was easy and took less time than it did to write this paragraph. 

Talked to tech online to order the correct part. The part came in two days!!! 

Unscrewed the broken hinge from the dryer opening and the door and replaced it with the new hinge. 

I took the door apart and discovered a broken hinge. Ordered and rec'd within 3 days. Easy repair 

Just bolt off and on, very easy good part.
