How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6010501 / WP67006331 Water Filter Cover

Ordered new replacement water filter cover and installed it per the video. 

All that was necessary to repair my filter cover was to snap out the covering and slide in the new one, 

Removed and installed new cover. 

Removed the refrigerator lower back panel, removed the old valve, and replace it with a new one. Important helpful hints: + Pay close attention to the setup of the old valve before removing - I took pictures. + Be gentle when unscrewing the copper fitting on the old valve so you can reuse on new one use wd40 if needed to help loosen. + Use care or gloves handling the aluminum back panel- it can be sharp. 

Watched video on how to r & r housing cover. Ordered part. Removed old cover and replaced with new cover. 

Ordered the replacement part. Watched the video. Replaced the parts. Only took a few minutes. 

I replace the cover. 

I watched the video on how to replace my broken cover. Wow, in under 2 mins, I was done. Thanks, great. 

Popped the old cover off and popped the new one on. Very easy. 

Old cover popped off and new cover snapped in place in a minute.
