Ordered 2 boxes of bulbs at 5pm on line and FedEx delivered them 9am next day. The bulb is non-standard size and wattage, and not readily available in my area of central Illinois. I found them online at AppliancePartsPro a couple years ago and keep a supply on hand. It is a simple fix to remove the Phillips screw holding the glass lense, remove dead bulb and install a new one. The very first bulb change was a challenge because for reasons unknown to me, Whirlpool elects to apply a glue or cement to the bulb's threads, perhaps to influence a person to call in a technician to remove it. The owner's manual cautions removal because 'it may damage the electronic control' but the control panel will display 'on-high, on low or bulb off' so pressing bulb control button until OFF appears eliminates any problem of damage. In a first-replace situation, if the glass breaks or comes out of the base (as mine did) simple grip the remaining base with a pliers and screw it out of the socket. It may turn out to be an 'Olympic event' to bend and reach to the bulb chamber with the range in place and still try to see what you're doing (especially with bi-focals). If removing the base with pliers causes the base to bend and distort, no problem - you don't need it anymore anyway, and the bending will help loosen the grip of the cement holding it in place.
