Initially, I had called Whirlpool, and asked the "customer service" person for the part number of the LED light. The individual stated that he could not find the part number even after I supplied the serial number and everything to him, but he was willing to find a technician to come out and fix it for a fee. I informed him that I would find the part myself and fix it. I went on line to AppliancePartsPros.com and within five minutes found the part, ordered (paid extra for the fast FEDEX delivery due to the nature of the strobing). The part came in Friday afternoon as promised. I unplugged the fridge from its power source. It took some extra time to get the philips screw out of the light holder (wasn't hand tight), but once that was done, the entire process took less than five minutes. Happy customer for life!
