How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP4364879 / 6-919090 Panel- Con

Replaced the computer board and the front power board where you turn the machine. 

I put in a new control panel and my dishwasher started right up. It was a very simple fix. It took me less than 15min 

Disassembled dishwasher door, verified door latch switches were operating (latch had previously been replaced after breaking). Ordered new part from AppliancePartsPros.com and installed it. Powered dishwasher up, problem fixed. 

The longest part of this repair was removing the door panels. After that the replacement took about 3 minutes. Now our dishwasher works great again, and as they say...happy wife, happy life. 

I watched a video about replacing the control panel. I followed those directions and the job went well. Only problem was the broken handle. I knew the handle was loose but did not realize it was actually broken until I took the door apart. Order the door latch assemble on Monday and received it on Tuesday. I replaced that part, put the door back together and started the dishwasher. Worked like new again. I love doing things myself. It saves money and gives me a sense of accomplishment. You can teach an old dog new tricks. I'm a 63 year old woman and still learning. 

Replaced the touchpad 

My husband replaced the panel with the touch pads and the dishwasher works like new. 

The power light to the control panel was lit. However none of the function buttons would work. Since it was still getting power, I figured it must be the control panel that needed replacing. Sure enough, that was the problem. Very easy to fix. Took about 15 minutes. 

Ordered this part and replaced it easilily. Problem solved 

Ordered new touch pad. When part came in I took the old off and put on the new. Dishwasher works like new again.
