Kirsten M Cincinnati , OH October 29, 2016 Wanted a new "stainless" look for my 12 y o black whirlpool dishwasher Already own a stainless fridge, and after biting the bullet + getting a big new stainless gas range, I wondered if the older black dishwasher could get a facelift with a stainless front panel. Binged it + found this site not only had the part that would fit my model but also a video that showed how easy it was to replace! It arrived only 2 days after I ordered it, and I got to work. I was concerned how poorly it was packaged, and noticed a small dent near the top but gave it a try. Unfortunately that small ding it suffered in handling or shipping was enough to make it impossible to fit. But no worries, their customer service took care of me right away + shipped the replacement the next morning. Now my kitchen is all stainless + it's beautiful. Unfortunately, the styrofoam insulation behind the existing panel was glued to the panel, so it took a lot more work to pull it off, and the styrofoam broke apart at the bottom. I had to use duck tape (!) to piece the insulation back in place as best I could before installing the new panel, but that went on easily and it looks great! Read More...
