Denise B West Wardsboro , VT April 24, 2020 Pump not working I purchased new pump and drive belts and a new washer drain pump for the washer. It was such an easy repair, five screws with a 5/16 socket screw driver. The hardest part was pulling the machine out and tilting it backwards! I have since shared this site with several people! Russ M Altenburg , MO January 27, 2020 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer A506 Washerwouuldshtr would not drain from washing machine. I went to this website. I entered my washing machine model number. There was a list of problems, I chose the problem I was having. It gave me a list of possible parts that needed replacing and a percentage of likelihood for each part. I thought it would be the water pump. I ordered a new water pump and also new belts. Those were the original belts so it was a perfect time to replace them as well. I replaced the water pump and belts after watching the repair video again. I was running in no time. Read More... Christine S Esko , MN November 17, 2019 Water would not extract from Maytag washing machine Appliance Parts Pro assisted me in purchasing the correct parts to fix my washing machine by the model and serial number. I replaced the water pump and belts by watching a u-tube video on how to install a new water pump and belts on my Maytag washer. Before I fixed the washing machine, I took photos of how the hoses were attached to the water pump and how the belts were attached to the pulleys to use as a reference. The washing machine is now working perfectly after the change in parts. I am a woman in my mid 60’s and found it very easy to fix. Read More... Michael B Jamaica Plain , MA November 09, 2019 Appliance: Maytag Top Loading Washer A482 Maytag clothes washer drain pump failure Washer failed to drain, so I did a search based on washer model number and found the site, repair videos and associated parts. I did misrecognize the root problem, so initially replaced the belts, and the washer still didn't drain. Checking the free movement of the drain pump pulley, it was clearly seizing up. New pump ordered, the swap for the new pump took less time than it took to pull the washer out from the wall and remove the front cover. Gotta love simple machines. Read More...
