How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6013682 / WP9703438 Dryer Drum Support Roller Retaining Ring

I replaced both support rollers plus the shafts plus the tumbler kit the belt i was taugt if you replace one then replace all while you are there the parts arrived in a timely manner i will buy from you guys agian

Replaced worn out blower wheel 

The video was very helpful to me. I do recommend when replacing the idler pulley wheel, one should go ahead and invest in the idler pulley arm for a longer lasting repair. 

I ordered my parts from www.appliancepartspros.com and they arrived after a short 3 days. I replaced planetary and 2 gears that are on the planetary. I greased up the gear housing and put the machine back together, straight forward replace and put back together but made easier because I found everything I needed in 1 place. 

Replaced both rollers and axles. Single biggest problem was removing and replacing the retaining clips. Decided to remove the axle along with the retaining clip and roller, and reverse the procedure with the new parts. Not having the proper tool for the retaining clip I drove to my local auto repair shop and in less than 30 seconds the mechanic installed both clips on the axle, the rest was a piece of cake. 

I replaced the tumbler bearings that support the front of the drum, replaced the rollers that support the rear of the drum, and replaced the axles with retaining clips that support those rollers. While working in there, I also replaced the belt. I initially did not replace the roller support axles and clips (just the rollers), nor did I replace the belt. Failing to replace all those parts was an error. I had to go back in and replace those parts. Notes: 1) I highly recommend the use of retaining clip pliers and labeled zipper-closure plastic bags for the various types of screws you will encounter. 2) You do not need to disassemble the lint trap and blower shield to remove the drum front assembly, but if you do, you will be rewarded with coins, combs, etc. 

Disassembled dryer following appliancepartspros.com repair video and replaced pulley. I lost one of the retaining clips on the fan during reassembly and also replaced a damaged baffle along the way. Easy peasy.
