How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6799974 / W11252182 Ring-Turn

Found part at this business, great price had the replacement in less than a week. 

The turntable and turntable support fit perfectly; we were not able to find these parts on the manufacturer's website or anywhere else. We are still have a problem with the turntable not spinning, so we will be looking to get a motor. The grease trap also fit perfectly. 

Replaced coupler, support and tray. Easy to find and get the correct parts at Appliance Parts Pros. Microwave like new now.

While my landlord claimed that spare parts were not available, AppliancePartsPros made it easy. I just used my microwave model number to find the right part and it showed up quickly. Installation couldn't be simpler either--simply remove the glass platter, pull out the wrong ring, drop in the new one, and put the platter back on. While I was at it, I also replaced the burned-out light bulb that sits under the microwave and over my stove. That was a little harder, needing a screwdriver to open the cover, but took only a few minutes. 

Found a great new otr Whirlpool microwave at the thrift store for $15. Only problem was it needed mounting bracket and turntable roller. Was able to get parts for $30. Job total cost including microwave purchase price was $45! Thank you for making this possible!
