Michael S Dunlap , IL February 20, 2026 Appliance: Model KENMORE 76702693 Old kenmore series 70 gas dryer would not dry clothes (no heat) I looked through the peek hole and saw that the there was no flame. I watched several youtube videos about trouble shooting the problem. I removed the back of the dryer and checked continuity of the sensors. I found the thermal fuse was bad. I ordered and replaced the thermal fuse and it fixed the dryer. I also replaced the lint screen because it was damaged. Read More... When we got home we all gathered in the basement and took out the old torn screen. We then carefully inserted the new screen and the family watched a YouTube video about lint screen cleaning.
